Are you living with Dementia?
Our Café in Stratford is for people with dementia, families and carers and offers a welcoming and friendly place where people living with dementia can enjoy a variety of activities such as singing, arts and crafts and talks on a variety of subjects that address 5 Ways to Wellbeing.
A carers support group runs twice a month, in which carers, families and supporters of people with dementia share experiences, resources and strategies.
We create a safe, calm environment where people gain peer and emotional support and reduce social isolation.
"Saturday mornings are a godsend...we both look forward to every Saturday".
"Tracey does an amazing job and we look forward to our Saturday meet"
"The Dementia Wellbeing Cafe is always friendly, welcoming and extremely supportive...many thanks for the cafe as it is a lifeline!"

The Dementia Wellbeing Cafe is temporarily closed
The Stratford Town Trust funded the Café for the last three years. This funding ceased on the 30th September 2018. Stratford Town Trust assisted us in setting up this valuable service, we couldn’t have done it without them.
As an organisation we were very aware of this and are grateful to the Town Trust for the support that we have received to date.
We are awaiting further funding from three further bids that we have in place.
Springfield Mind is fully aware of the importance to continue running the Café and I genuinely hope that there will be as short a break in the service that can be possibly managed.
