Walking Out of Darkness
We are excited to announce that we will be part of the Birmingham ‘Walking Out of Darkness’ Event on 6th May 2017 the Saturday before Mental Health Awareness Week! The event aims to increase mental health awareness and suicide prevention amongst local communities bringing an end to stigma and discrimination. You can also raise money for Springfield Mind!
The event is a 10 mile walk along the canals of Birmingham starting at 10:00am in Eastside City Park and finishing with a family fun festival and showcase of mental health charities and services in Canon Hill Park. The event will finish at 6:00pm but you are free to leave at any time!
