About Us

An Overview of South Warwickshire & Worcestershire Mind

South Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind (formerly Springfield Mind) supports the wellbeing of local people and provides a free, quick and easy stepping stone towards better mental health.

Our Vision is to create a society where people can live free of stigma and discrimination and to achieve better personal mental wellbeing. Our Mission is to promote wellbeing, and to help improve and prevent mental health problems in the community.

We’ll always be here for you, without judgement or expectation, other than a willingness to improve your own mental health. Founded over 30 years ago, today our services include a 24-hour crisis and wellbeing line as well as one-to-one and group support. These services span South Warwickshire and the whole of Worcestershire, and are delivered through a combination of in-person and digital methods.

We are viewed as a well-governed, outcomes-focused charity that has a human face. We live and breathe mental wellbeing with individuals, organisations and not neglecting ourselves in the process. This is achieved in partnership with service users, volunteers and professionals through education, hand-holding,  face-to-face and telephone individual and group support. We will hold your hand and guide you to the mental wellbeing you deserve.

How We Run South Warwickshire & Worcestershire Mind

SWW Mind is governed in principle by our Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees is led by Chair Carol Roberts and they work to the guidelines laid out as best practice by the Charities Commission.

We are very lucky to have a dedicated team of Trustees who work on a voluntary basis to strategically guide and oversee the Charity within its Memorandum of Understanding (our constitution).
